no, no, not amelie, ME! my tumor secretes human chorionic gonadotropin, which is what pregnancy tests measure. it's name is toomie (the tumor), but please, don't send flowers. toomie will not be with us for long.

Dear Joshy,
I can't believe you got knocked up! Everyone says the best time to get preggie is in med school, so there ya go. Sorry I have been MIA, but I have been sick for the last week (surprise...) and so I didn't want to give you a great present, like a rotavirus. When I am better, I will come kick your butt in "apples-to-apples". Love ya!

You know- its not very pc to refer to it as an "it"....we are all special and have our own identities...Even if "it" deserves to die like the invading pig that it is...We are all gods children...or some such drivel. I hope no protesters show up when "it" gets the boot!

Be well...we are thinking of you.

Hummmm, may be you discovered the reverse pregnancy syndrome as it seems that day by day your belly is deflating. Hang in there.
And yes, acupunture works miracles. It has saved me from allergies, stiff neck & back problems. I am glad you got a chance to experience this feeling.
Get well, stay good and kiss Amelie for me.

Salut!
I love your blog, even in black and white, but as long as you're pregnant, what do you think about using "bleu ciel" or "rose layette" as a background? It would cheer us up!

Josh,
The look on your face is priceless! You truly resemble an "I have never been so happy" mommy-to-be. But please do tell, is it a boy or a girl? Or are you waiting to be surprised? Maybe I'll send yellow clothing. That's pretty gender neutral, right?
Big hugs,
Marta

What, you looking for sympathy or someting? I swear, some people will go to such lengths to get attention. If you wanted some familial company, or didn't want to go home, but felt like crashing in Riverside (yes, lowly Riverside)you could have called your g-ma and she could have given you her favorite niece's address. OK, so I'm the only niece, but that's besides the point. We wish you well here and if you have a time when you need a crash, let me know...
